Town Departments

ADMINISTRATION:  Citizens are served by a friendly and talented Administrative staff at the Town Hall consisting of the Town Administrator, Town Clerk, and Administrative Assistant. 

BUILDING INSPECTIONS:  The Town of Princeton relies upon Johnston County Building Inspections to perform required inspections. 

PLANNING & ZONING:  The Town Administrator is the appointed Zoning Enforcement Officer and Subdivision Administrator. 

POLICE DEPARTMENT:  Princeton citizens are protected by a dedicated force of certified police officers led by the Chief of Police, who supervises two Sergeants and up to ten other Police Officers. 

FIRE DEPARTMENT:  The Town of Princeton contracts with the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department, a separate nonprofit agency, to provide fire protections within the town limits. 

PUBLIC WORKS:  The Public Works Department is supervised by a highly qualified Public Works Superintendent with an Assistant Public Works Superintendent and two Maintenance Workers.
