• 1986 Graduated from Princeton High School
• 1991 Graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing Education.

 

Professional Background

Upon graduation from East Carolina University, Mayor Pro Tem Rose spent ten years as an educator. He later started his own business, Quickshirts located in downtown Princeton. Mayor Pro Tem Rose has been a business owner since 1995.

 

Political Background

In 2013, Mayor Pro Tem Rose was appointed as Chief Judge for the Boon Hill District. Mayor Pro Tem Rose was also a member of the Princeton Planning Board.

 

Statement of Beliefs

I believe Princeton is a great place to live and raise a family. Our job is to provide an atmosphere and an infrastructure that invites new business while supporting existing business. Also, we need to provide quality services for the residents of Princeton and this in turn, with continued commercial and residential growth, will make Princeton an even better place in the future. 

 

Personal Background

Mayor Pro Tem Rose has two sons, Dustin and Kevin. Dustin works with his father at Quickshirts while Kevin is a Captain in the Army. During his free time, Mayor Pro Tem Rose enjoys sports, playing music, and building. He is also a member of the Princeton Chamber of Commerce.
