Major Toole is a lifelong resident of Johnston County. He is married with 3 children and attends church in the area. He graduated from Princeton High School in 2006 and later completed Basic Law Enforcement Training at Wayne Community College. Major Toole started his career in 2010 with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office where he served as a patrol deputy. In 2015, he was hired as a police officer for the Town of Princeton.
During his tenure in Princeton, he has served as a field training officer and evidence room technician. In addition, he served as the department’s liaison with several local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. Major Toole holds several certifications and serves as agency administrator for the department’s technological resources. He received his Intermediate Law Enforcement Certificate and was promoted to Major in 2023.
